I completely agree with the previous comment. He does mean well and he does care for his students but I just didn't really understand his teaching that well. Good guy though. | |
It's really hard to review this guy. He is a really nice guy and he means well, and he cares about his students, but he is just not a good teacher. He has no structure to his lectures. He spends a lot of time talking about the history of calculus, rather than just teaching it. He also tries to make analogies between math formulas and real life situations, but in the end it just confuses everyone more. I will go to lecture, not understand a thing, and then go to recitation the next day and understand everything. Like I said, he means well and he makes himself available for help, but I don't know how much help he will be just because he doesn't explain concepts well and shows no orginization in his lectures. |
